Francisco Pinazo Peñalver

At Damascus in Syria, the passion of the Blessed martyrs Emmanuel Ruiz, priest, and companions, seven of the Order of Friars Minor and three brothers, faithful of the Maronite Church, who, handed over to the enemy through deceit by a traitor, were subjected to various tortures for the faith and completed their martyrdom with a glorious death.
Among those named is Blessed Francisco Pinazo Peñalver, a religious of the Order of Friars Minor.
