Francisco Rodríguez Martínez was born on 10 December 1889 at Albox, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest.
He was killed on 13 September 1936 on the bridge over the river at Antas, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
