Co-founder and later superior general of the Sisters of St Elizabeth in Nysa

Franciszka Werner was one of the youngest of the first group of women who joined Klara Wolff in Nysa in 1842 to nurse the sick at home, the beginning of the Sisters of St Elizabeth, and she later led the congregation.
