Who they were
In the fortress of Quang-Tri in An Nam, now Viet Nam, the holy martyrs François Jaccard, priest of the Society of Foreign Missions of Paris, and Thomas Tran Van Thien, who, under the emperor Minh Mang, suffered prison and beatings for Christ and died, at last, strangled.
