Why that counted as sanctity
The informative process ran in the diocese of Münster from 1950 to 1953, a supplementary inquiry followed in 1984-85 and the processes were declared valid on 20 March 1993; the positio was published in 1996. The Dominicans of Vechta maintain pages on his life and beatification.
