Who they were
At Utrecht in Austrasia, in the territory of present-day Holland, Saint Frederick, bishop, who shone in the study of the Sacred Scriptures and devoted care and effort to the evangelisation of the Frisians.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 18 July as a bishop of Utrecht learned in the Scriptures who worked to evangelise the Frisians.
