Who they were
Fulk, parish priest of Neuilly-sur-Marne, had led an irregular life until a sudden conversion. Ashamed of his ignorance, he studied in Paris, and his preaching was so powerful that he was thought inspired; he denounced usury and vice, and many sick were said to be cured by his prayer.
From 1198 he preached the Fourth Crusade. He restored his parish church, and when he died in March 1202 he was regarded as a saint.
The miracles
He was regarded as a saint at his death; the Catholic Encyclopedia does not describe a formal cause.
Why that counted as sanctity
A converted parish priest who became a great preacher of repentance.
