Rome granted the nulla osta in 2023 and the Diocese of Larantuka opened the diocesan phase of his cause on 19 October 2023 at the Mgr Gabriel Manek chapel in Lebao, Larantuka; the diocesan inquiry was closed on 1 December 2025 and the acts reached Rome in 2026.
