Who they were
At Milan, Saint Galdino, bishop, who worked for the rebuilding of the city destroyed by wars for power and, at the end of a sermon against the heretics, gave up his spirit to God.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 18 April as a bishop of Milan who rebuilt the war-ruined city and died after preaching against heretics.
