Who they were
Gaspare Daverio was an Italian subdeacon of twenty-seven, born at Busto Arsizio on 27 April 1584, whom the attackers killed by throwing him down from the roof of the church. He was one of Frederick Bachstein and thirteen companions of the Order of Friars Minor killed at Prague on 15 February 1611, and was beatified on 13 October 2012 by Benedict XVI.
