Who they were
In the village of Carcaixent in the territory of Valencia, also in Spain, Blessed Germán (José María) Garrigues Hernández, priest of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and martyr, who, in the course of the same persecution against the faith, overcame the torments of the body by his precious death.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 9 August as a Capuchin priest and martyr at Carcaixent.
