Who they were

At Cerecca-Ghebaba in Ethiopia, Blessed Ghébrē Michele, priest of the Congregation of the Mission and martyr, who through study and prayer always sought the true faith, entering into unity with the Catholic Church; for this he suffered prison and thirteen months of forced marches with the soldiers, with heavy chains on his feet, until he died exhausted by scourging, thirst and hunger.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 14 July as an Ethiopian Vincentian priest who entered the Catholic Church and died in chains of scourging, thirst and hunger.
