Who they were
At Venice, Blessed Giordano Forzatè, abbot, who founded monasteries at Padua and, unable despite his efforts to prevent the ruin of his homeland, fell asleep in the peace of the Lord as a devout exile, leaving an example of honesty, integrity of life and learning.
