Italian priest who founded the Opera Nazionale per il Mezzogiorno d'Italia and the Family of the Disciples
Who they were
Born at Preta di Amatrice in the diocese of Rieti, Minozzi organised the 'soldiers' houses' on the Italian front in the First World War and afterwards, with Giovanni Semeria, founded the Opera Nazionale per il Mezzogiorno d'Italia for orphans and poor children in southern Italy, together with the Congregation of the Family of the Disciples and the Handmaids of the Lord.

The diocesan inquiry was opened in Rome on 11 April 2008 after a nihil obstat in 2002; the diocese of Rieti marks an annual commemoration of him as a Servant of God.
