Bishop Claudio Cipolla of Padua opened the diocesan inquiry for the beatification and canonisation of the Servo di Dio don Giovanni Nervo on 13 December 2025, after favourable opinions from the Triveneto bishops (8 January 2025) and the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints (26 May 2025); deacon Francesco Armenti is postulator.
