Who they were
Giulia Valle was born at Aosta on 26 June 1847. Her mother died when she was four, and she was raised by relatives; at eleven she was sent to school at Besançon with the Sisters of Charity.
She joined the Sisters of Charity, taking the name Nemesia, and was outstanding in forming young people in the love of the Gospel.
