Who they were
Called the "don Bosco of Bergamo", he founded the Patronato San Vincenzo in 1927 for abandoned and poor children and young people, was a military chaplain in the First World War and directed L'Eco di Bergamo from 1930 to 1932.

Bishop Francesco Beschi of Bergamo issued the edict for the cause of the Servo di Dio don Giuseppe Vavassori on 30 November 2023 and presided over the first session of the diocesan inquiry on 5 February 2024.
