Why that counted as sanctity
Frassinetti was prior of Santa Sabina in Genoa, a prolific writer on the spiritual life and the founder of the Sons of Holy Mary Immaculate; his sister Paola Frassinetti is a canonised saint. His cause was introduced at Genoa in 1916 and the decree on his heroic virtues was promulgated on 14 May 1991, which is why santiebeati.it calls him venerable in its text although its heading still reads Servant of God.
