Who they were
Gonzalo Magaña Rodríguez was a priest, born at Villacarrillo on 23 August 1899 and ordained on 31 October 1926, who was parish priest of Cañada Catena and was killed at Beas de Segura on 5 August 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
