Why that counted as sanctity
The archdiocesan media office reports that the official cause for his beatification began in 2013, thirteen years after his death, with Fr Christopher Lumsden as postulator, and that the historical commission and theological censor have examined his life and writings ahead of sending the acts to Rome.
