Who they were
Gregorio Morales Membrives was born on 9 April 1883 at Rejano, in the province and archdiocese of Granada, and was ordained priest in 1913.
He was killed on 31 August 1936 at Pozo de la Lagarta, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
