Italian bishop who stayed parish priest of Marino and founded the Little Disciples of Jesus
Who they were
Monsignor Guglielmo Grassi was parish priest of the basilica of San Barnaba at Marino from 1908, founded an agricultural credit fund and a nursery for workers' children, stayed with the people through the bombardment of 1944, and founded the Little Disciples of Jesus; made a bishop in 1937, he remained parish priest on the diocesan bishop's condition.
