Who they were
Brother Oseas (Guillermo Álvarez Quemada) was born at Santa Cruz de la Salceda, in the province of Burgos, on 10 February 1890, and made his perpetual vows as a Brother of the Christian Schools in 1921. He did manual work in the Brothers' houses, mostly as cook and gardener. He came to the Madrid procure community in 1936 and was killed there on 30 July 1936.
Pope Benedict XVI declared him a martyr in 2011, and he was beatified at Tarragona on 13 October 2013 with his companions.

Why that counted as sanctity
One of sixteen De La Salle Brothers killed in Madrid in the religious persecution of 1936-1937, beatified as martyrs in 2013.
