Who they were
Henri Euzenat was a layman born at Blemes on 6 September 1920 and baptised three days later; his family moved to Magenta, where he studied with the Brothers of the Christian Schools and was taken on in a sewing workshop, and he joined the Young Christian Workers on 8 November 1940. Recruited on 4 September 1942 and taken the next month to Karlsruhe with his brother George, he was arrested on 29 January 1944 and died at Mauthausen-Gusen on 25 April 1945, aged 24. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV.
