Who they were
Henry de Balma (Beaume) was a Franciscan of the province of Burgundy, confessor to St Colette, who testified to his exceptional worth. He wrote an account of her gifts, which she had destroyed on hearing of it.
He wrote on mystical theology. He died on 23 February 1439.
