Who they were
Henry Morse, born in Norfolk in 1595, was received into the Church at Douai in 1614, ordained in Rome, and made his Jesuit novitiate while imprisoned in York Castle.
Working in London during the plague, he received about ninety Protestant families into the Church in 1636 and caught the plague himself. Arrested, released and exiled, he returned in 1643, was taken again, and was executed at Tyburn on 1 February 1645.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
