Who they were
In the prison camp of Dachau near Munich in Bavaria in Germany, Blessed Henryk Krzysztofik, priest and martyr, who, deported in wartime from Poland to a foreign prison for having professed himself a Christian, completed his martyrdom under torture.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 4 August as a Polish priest martyred under torture at Dachau.
