Who they were
Heraclio Matute Tobías, born at Alesanco, near Logroño, on 11 March 1867, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 23 December 1884 and was ordained a priest on 14 March 1891.
He was killed at Cervera on 18 October 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
