At Belgrade in Moesia, in present-day Serbia, Saints Hermylus and Stratonicus, martyrs, who under the emperor Licinius, after cruel tortures, were drowned in the Danube.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 January as a martyr drowned in the Danube at Belgrade under the emperor Licinius.
