Who they were
Born at Quintanavides, near Burgos, on 14 January 1869 and ordained priest in March 1895, he spent his whole ministry in Madrid as manager of the magazine Medalla Milagrosa, master of ceremonies and prefect of the Basilica of the Miraculous Medal; he was killed on 12 August 1936. Pope Francis beatified him with José María Fernández Sánchez and his companions on 11 November 2017.
