The Roman Martyrology remembers him among the martyrs of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God killed at Paracuellos del Jarama near Madrid in Spain; the Acts of the Apostolic See describe him as a professed brother, born on 18 April 1918 at Cáñar in the diocese of Granada, shot on 28 November 1936. He was beatified by John Paul II on 25 October 1992.
