Who they were
In the prison camp of Dachau near Munich in Bavaria in Germany, Blessed Hilary Januszewski, priest of the Order of Discalced Brothers of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel and martyr: in time of war, he was deported because of his faith in Christ from Poland to this foreign prison; having caught typhus while caring for the sick, he died outstanding in faith and charity.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 25 March as a Carmelite priest and martyr who died at Dachau of typhus caught while caring for the sick.
