In the monastery of Liessies in Hainaut, in the territory of present-day France, Saint Hiltrude, virgin, who lived devoutly, having withdrawn to the side of her brother Guntard, abbot.

There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 27 September as a virgin who lived devoutly at Liessies beside her brother, the abbot Guntard.
