Who they were
In the prison camp of the town of Abez in Siberia in Russia, Blessed Hryhorij Lakota, bishop of Przemyśl and martyr, who, during the oppression of his homeland by persecutors of the faith, overcame the sufferings of the body by a fearless death in the name of Christ.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 5 November as the bishop of Przemyśl who died a martyr in the prison camp at Abez in Siberia.
