Who they were
In Bithynia, in present-day Turkey, Saint Hypatius, hegumen of the monastery of the Rufinians, who by a life of sobriety and severe fasting taught his disciples perfect obedience to the monastic life and the laity the fear of God.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 17 June as hegumen of the Rufinians' monastery in Bithynia, known for sobriety and fasting.
