Who they were
Ildefonso Galán Cruz was a priest, born at Baeza on 16 January 1873 and ordained in 1898, who was parish priest of San Bartolomé at Andújar and was killed on 15 August 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
