Ildefonso Vacchiano Vargas was a priest, born at Úbeda on 26 May 1895 and ordained in 1918, who was parish priest of Villanueva de la Reina and was killed on 31 July 1937. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
