Who they were

Limited information is available on this saint so far. We are always working to add more, and this page will be updated as new information comes to light.

The miracles

No miracle has been approved. The cause is at its first stage.

Why that counted as sanctity

Father Yeremiya (Ivan) Lomnytskyi was a Basilian priest and missionary and one of the co-founders of the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate, who asked for his cause to be opened. The eparchial phase began on 5 April 2009 in the cathedral of the Resurrection in Ivano-Frankivsk and he is titled Servant of God.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
