Who they were
Jaime Payás Fargas, born at Castellterçol, near Barcelona, on 14 August 1907, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 15 August 1924 and was ordained a priest on 20 June 1931.
He was killed at Sallent on 25 July 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
