Who they were
At Kokura, again in Japan, the blessed martyrs Simon Bokusai Kyota, catechist, and Magdalene, husband and wife, Thomas Gengoro and Maria, likewise husband and wife, and little James, their son, who by decree of the prefect Yetsundo were crucified together head downwards in hatred of the name of Christ.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 16 August as the child of Thomas Gengoro and Maria, crucified head downwards with his parents at Kokura.
