Who they were
Jean-Antoine-Hyacinthe Boucharenc de Chaumeils was born in the diocese of Le Puy, vicar general of Viviers, according to the papal letter that beatified him.
He was killed in Paris in September 1792, one of 191 priests, religious and laymen put to death in hatred of the faith for refusing the oath that the revolutionary government demanded of the clergy. Pius XI declared them Blessed on 17 October 1926.
