Polish priest of the Diocese of Tarnów, Fidei Donum missionary killed in the Congo
Who they were
A Fidei Donum missionary in the Diocese of Kinkala from 1989, he built a clinic, pharmacy and chapels at Mindouli and Loulombo and stayed with his parishioners through the civil war, saying he would remain to the end; he was shot dead by rebels in 1998.

The Diocese of Tarnów opened the diocesan phase of his beatification cause on 22 October 2024 in the seminary chapel at Tarnów, after the nihil obstat of April 2023; the cause is under the 'offer of life' heading.
