Who they were
Fr Jan Paweł Aeltermann, parish priest of Mierzeszyn, published the 1933 pamphlet 'Hakenkreuz oder Christenkreuz?' warning against Nazism and was shot with about sixty prisoners at Nowy Wiec near Skarszewy on 22 November 1939.
