Who they were
At Córdoba in Andalusia in Spain, Saints Adulphus and Jan, brothers, martyrs, who during the persecution of the Moors, in the time of King 'Abd ar-Rahman II, were crowned with martyrdom for Christ.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 27 September as a martyr at Córdoba, with his brother, under the Moorish King 'Abd ar-Rahman II.
