Who they were
In the fortress of Son-Tây in Tonkin, now Viet Nam, Saint Jean-Charles Cornay, priest of the Society of Foreign Missions of Paris and martyr, who, after cruel tortures, was cut to pieces by decree of the emperor Minh Mang and finally beheaded for his Christian faith.
