Jean Lépicier

Who they were

Jean Lépicier was a layman born at Feneu on 23 April 1921 and baptised four days later; he moved to Angers, worked in a pastry shop and joined the Young Christian Workers at the parish of Notre-Dame in 1938. Taken into the compulsory labour service on 23 March 1943 and sent to Cologne, he died at Halberstadt on 20 March 1945, aged 23. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV.
