At anchor in the sea off Rochefort on the French coast, Blessed Jean (Protais) Bourdon, priest of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and martyr, who, put on a prison ship during the French Revolution together with many other priests, died worn away by disease while bringing comfort to his fellow prisoners.
