Who they were
Jean Wauthier was a priest of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in Laos, who became the apostle and defender of the Kmhmu' refugees abandoned by all.
He was executed on 16 December 1967, aged 35, on the orders of corrupt soldiers, and was called by the people 'martyr of justice and charity'.
