Who they were
The Roman Martyrology names him on 3 October in a list of blessed martyrs made up of men, women and children, many of them related to one another.
The Acta Apostolicae Sedis record that the second group of these martyrs gave their witness on 3 October of the same year at Uracu, a few miles from Natal, and that after enduring most bitter torments with wonderful courage they refused every offer to leave the Catholic faith and so won the eternal reward.
