Argentine bishop of San Juan de Cuyo who founded the Sisters of Our Lady of the Rosary of Buenos Aires
Who they were
Monsignor José Américo Orzali, called the Good Shepherd of Cuyo, founded the Sisters of Our Lady of the Rosary of Buenos Aires and was sixth bishop and then first archbishop of San Juan de Cuyo from 1912 until his death. AICA, the Argentine bishops' news agency, gives his birth as 13 March 1863, where the Hagiography Circle record says 12 March 1863.

The nihil obstat is dated 14 June 1983; in June 2018 Archbishop Jorge Lozano and the bishops of the Cuyo region signed an act renewing the archdiocese's commitment to his cause.
